Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh

Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh is a very famous park either country and abroad. This park was established in 1670 as a physical garden to grow medicinal plants. RBGE living collection consists of more than 15,000 species of plants, (accession 41.00) while the herbarium contains more than 3 million specimens are preserved. In 1929, the botanical gardens at Benmore became the first Regional Park RBGE. This is followed by a park in Logan and Dawyck in 1969 and 1978. And Edinburgh botanic garden was founded in 1670 Yard, St. Anne, near the Palace of Holyrood, by Dr. Robert Sibbald and Dr. Andrew Balfour. This is the second oldest botanic garden in England after Oxford.
